How everything started…

Since I was young girl I was amazed about makeup and I was always spending my savings buying my first lipsticks. Makeup was for me, my most artistry way to express myself.

When I was 18 I went to get my first makeup training. However, I consider that most of my knowledge has been self-taught, working with great colleagues and educating my eye and gain experience in having many different skin shades and skin types at my fingertips. With all those years experience, in 2012 I took one of the most important decisions in my career. I moved to London to allow myself to grow professionally and artistically. All the years living abroad were very helpful for my personal progress and learning a new language, but especially its were I found my real passion, the fashion industry.

In 2016 I came back to Barcelona for starting a new chapter in my life: opening my own makeup studio, Glow Makeup studio, a perfect space where I found wonderful clients and meetup with incredible collaborators which I was still learning and admiring deeply.

We are living right now, strangers times, life as we know it has changed and we have to adapt to new circumstances which we never thought we would need to do ever. It was necessary leaving behind periods and taking with you all the essential skills you have learned during the process that’s why now I want to carry on this new chapter in my life as a Glow By Laura Sanchez, a new vision focused more from a personal point of view.

When I was living in England the word “Glow” got my attention a lot, in the way they were using it in the language. Glow is not always used about you physical appearance, it has more to do about you and how you approach the world. It’s about your inner glow, your smile, having had good sleep, being in love, expecting a new exciting event in your life, going on holidays… You are glowing! That’s how I understand my vision about beauty - natural, without too much decorations, simple, taking what it’s natural beauty and make it even more precious. My goal is that when you look in the mirror and you recognise yourself. It doesn’t need to be boring - boost your creativity, break the rules, believe in yourself. Less is more, More is Glow!
